Linking Library Resources into Blackboard: ProQuest

Populate Blackboard courses with a variety of Licensed Library Databases.

ProQuest Databases: Create durable links to individual articles found in the following databases:

  • ABI-Inform;
  • Alexander Street Press's Academic Video Online; 
  • Alt-PressWatch; 
  • ERIC;
  • Ethnic NewsWatch;
  • Medline; 
  • ProQuest Criminal Justice;
  • ProQuest Research Library;
  • ProQuest Central! (all subfiles!)

Article Link: Select the article you want to link to Blackboard. Locate the URL starting with https://0- and right-click it to copy that durable link URL; then paste it into your Blackboard class.

PDF Link: To point directly to the PDF version of an article, open the article in PDF format within your browser.  Locate the URL starting with 0- noting that this URL has the phrase "/fulltextPDF/" embedded in the URL. Right-click to copy that durable link URL; then paste it into your Blackboard class.
